ASBO Hybrid GT1446 Turbocharger | Abarth 595 / 695
Stop Compromising Between Spool and Top-End Power.
After almost a year of rigorous development and real-world dyno testing, we engineered the ASBO Hybrid GT1446 to solve the biggest flaw with off-the-shelf hybrids.
Standard hybrid turbos stuff oversized internals into restrictive factory housings. This creates massive Exhaust Manifold Pressure (EMP), forcing the wastegate open prematurely and causing unpredictable boost control on the ME17 ECU.
The ASBO Hybrid features a completely reengineered turbine housing built from scratch. By drastically reducing backpressure, this turbo lets the T-Jet engine breathe at high RPM without sacrificing low-down response.
Proven Dyno Results
255 BHP @ 1.55 bar: Achieved on a stock exhaust system with a decat downpipe.
282 BHP @ 1.55 bar: Achieved with a tubular manifold and full 2.5” exhaust system.
270–300 BHP Capability: Built headroom for higher boost levels and supporting modifications (e.g., upgraded camshafts).
Key Features & Benefits
Reengineered Turbine Housing: Optimized flow characteristics eliminate EMP and wastegate float.
TD04 Power, GT1446 Driveability: Holds boost all the way to redline on full throttle, with instant boost-on-demand for smooth motorway cruising.
True Bolt-On Fitment: Designed as a direct fitment for Abarth 595/695 T-Jet engines.
ME17 ECU Friendly: Clean backpressure profile allows for precise, stable boost mapping.
